Held in mid-October in Hamanaka Town, Hokkaido, the "61st Kiritappu Cape Festival" is a local festival featuring a wide range of engaging attractions for participants, such as stage shows, rock-paper-scissors tournaments with Hamanaka Town's official tourism mascot "Kiritan," and grand raffle draws. Food trucks gathering from all over Hokkaido will also appear, offering plenty of gourmet delights. In addition, the Cape Tofutsu Lighthouse (Yuutoppu Lighthouse)—known as a filming location for the TBS TV drama "Eye Love You"—will be open to the public free of charge, and visitors can also enjoy wild sea otter watching, highlighting the nature-rich charms unique to Hamanaka Town.
