Minamikyushu City Hall New Building Completion Commemorative Ceremony & Event

A commemorative ceremony and celebration event will be held to mark the completion of the new Minamikyushu City Hall building and celebrate a new chapter for the city together with everyone. On the day, the commemorative ceremony will run from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a public tour inside the new building from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The building tour is open to the general public, where visitors can also enjoy delicious local gourmet food, sweets, and miscellaneous goods that Minamikyushu City takes pride in. Stage entertainment will feature diverse performances including Chiran Muso Taiko drumming, Dance Circle GROOVE, brass band performances by Kawanabe High School and Satsunan High School, and a Neputa Bayashi music presentation by the Chiran Neputa Festival Executive Committee. An exciting raffle will also be held to liven up the venue. At the Gourmet & Marche area, a total of 19 food trucks and tenant stalls are scheduled to open. Furthermore, displays of fire service and Japan Self-Defense Forces vehicles are scheduled. A building tour event for elementary and junior high school students titled "Seeking 100 Mayors!" will also be held.
