About this event
This training course aims to deepen understanding of various issues surrounding the sea, such as changes in the ecosystem due to the effects of global warming and the increase of marine litter, through nature experience activities at Shigetomi Beach in Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park. Participants can take part in hands-on activities engaging with the tidal flat nature while enjoying the beautiful view of Shigetomi Beach overlooking Sakurajima. Furthermore, through lectures and group work, participants will learn multifaceted perspectives on how a sustainable society should be. A free shuttle bus is also available.
