2nd Aquatic Life Survey and Water Play

Held at Niterra SparkTec WKS Park (Hokusatsu Regional Park) in Satsuma Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, the 2nd Aquatic Life Survey and Water Play is an experiential event perfect for making summer vacation memories. An environmental classroom featuring an aquatic life survey will be conducted by Sendai River River Office staff at the nearby Todorono River (around the Shiraogawa Bridge). Under the guidance of experts, participants can deepen their understanding of nature while learning about the creatures living in the river. In addition, water play experiences wearing safety gear are provided, allowing both children and adults to enjoy playing in the river safely. This event is open to 1st grade elementary school students and older; minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Capacity is limited to approximately the first 10 applicants and requires advance registration. Please participate wearing non-slip shoes and clothes that can get wet, and do not forget to bring drinks, a change of clothes, towels, etc. Why not take this opportunity to enjoy a valuable experience combining learning and play through interaction with nature?
