The 2nd Family Canoe Touring

The "2nd Family Canoe Touring", held in Satsuma Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, is a hands-on event navigating down the Sendai River in two-seater canoes under the guidance of instructors. Families can enjoy a fun canoeing experience together along the section from Miyanojo Bridge to Oshidori Bridge. Life jackets and helmets are included in the participation fee and will be provided on loan. The event is open to first-grade elementary school students and older; minors must be accompanied by a guardian. The capacity is limited to the first 6 applicants, and advance registration is required at the park counter or by phone. On the day, please bring drinks, a change of clothes, towels, etc., and gather at the park administration office. This event will be an ideal experience for families looking to actively spend time while fully enjoying nature.
