44th Tokunoshima Island Championship & Lightweight Championship Flag Tournament: Amagi Town Match

With a history of approximately 400 years, bullfighting on Tokunoshima continues to be enjoyed as entertainment by islanders today. The powerful clashes between bulls weighing over 1 ton draw spectators into a whirlwind of excitement. At the bullfighting arenas on Tokunoshima, island-wide tournaments with titles on the line are held three times a year, and this tournament is one of them. Competitions for the open-weight Island Championship and the lightweight division will be held on the same day. It will be held at Wide Dome Amagi and organized by the Amagi Town Bullfighting Association Northern Branch.
