About this event

A new exhibition following the "MINIATURE LIFE Exhibition", which attracted approximately 3.2 million visitors in Japan and abroad, is coming to the Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum. "Tatsuya Tanaka Exhibition: MITATE NO KUMITATE" is divided into 7 zones—"HOME", "FORM", "COLOR", "SCALE", "MOTION", "LIFE", and "WORLD"—unraveling the secrets of Tatsuya Tanaka's inspiration from each angle through approximately 160 works of photography and 3D miniature objects. Giant objects serving as photo spots and characters from popular picture books will also make a new appearance! It is an exhibition where you can enjoy participating as well as taking photos. Familiar everyday items invite you into a world you have never seen before. This is a new exhibition exploring the source of Tatsuya Tanaka's ideas.
