Remote Islands Fair 2026

About this event

This is a large-scale event where remote island municipalities across Okinawa Prefecture gather in one place to showcase local specialty products, regional cuisine, traditional culture, and tourist attractions. Because visitors can experience touring multiple remote islands while staying on Okinawa Main Island, it attracts attention not only from remote island travel enthusiasts and those looking for their next travel destination, but also from business operators wishing to procure island products. Past editions have featured specialty product sales exhibitions, a remote island eatery, and traditional performing arts stages. The 2026 event is expected to be held around November, with the planned venue being Okinawa Cellular Park Naha. Admission is free, while specialty products sold at each booth, dishes at the remote island eatery, and paid hands-on activities require separate fees. For access to the venue via Yui Rail, it is within walking distance from Onoyama Park Station or Tsubogawa Station. Arriving by car is also possible, but public transportation is recommended as the parking lot may be crowded on the day.
