About this event
Held at the Okinawa City Farmers' Training Center, the 14th Churasato Festival 2026 is a festival that deepens interaction among local residents, mainly in the Misato area of Okinawa City. Centered around local youth groups and children's associations, groups from various genres will perform diverse acts such as Eisa, children's Eisa, folk songs, island songs (shima-uta), brass band music, hula dance, jazz dance, and karate. In addition, local izakaya and bars will set up stalls, allowing visitors to enjoy local food. In the finale, all participants dance the Kachashi to liven up the closing of the festival. This community-based festival offers a firsthand experience of local culture and vibrancy.
