'MIYAKO ISLAND ROCK FESTIVAL 2026 ~SAVE THE SEA SAVE THE SKY~ Kind to the Sea, Kind to the Sky: Southern Island Rock Festival' is Japan's southernmost rock festival held at the Miyako Island Coastal Resort Hirara Turiver Area Headland Special Venue in Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture. Held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, it is scheduled to feature a stellar lineup of artists including Kaela Kimura, Dragon Ash, Real Piece, CUTIE STREET, HEY-SMITH, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Sambomaster, Kariyushi58, ELLEGARDEN, and ME:I. Surrounded by beautiful seas and skies on a southern island, the festival's concept is to call for environmental awareness through music. The venue is the Miyako Island Coastal Resort Hirara Turiver Area Headland Special Venue, opening at 10:00 with the show starting at 11:00. Tickets are priced at 9,000 yen in advance, 10,000 yen on the day, and 4,000 yen for student tickets (sold exclusively within Miyako Island). FamilyMart advance ticket sales are scheduled from Wednesday, June 17 to Tuesday, June 30, with general sales starting on Friday, July 17. Official tours via JAL and JTA will also be on sale.
