12th Minato in Shiranuka Fireworks Festival

Held at the Shiranuka Fishing Port special venue in Shiranuka Town, Hokkaido, the "12th Minato in Shiranuka Fireworks Festival" is a contest of sound and light coloring the night sky and the sea. Approximately 10,000 fireworks will be launched, featuring a rich variety of styles including starmine and over-water fireworks, with performances synchronized to music as an attraction. The fireworks launch will take place for one hour starting from 19:00. Before the fireworks, food stalls will open at 16:00, allowing visitors to enjoy local gourmet food. Furthermore, from 17:00, stage events featuring street dance, comedians, and singing YouTubers are scheduled, showing lively excitement at the venue even before the fireworks start. The location where sea and sky unite will also be an experience unique to Shiranuka. In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the following day, Sunday, August 23. There are no paid seats, but free temporary parking accommodating 1,390 vehicles is provided, and free shuttle buses will also operate to the venue.
