Nishihara Town Library 22nd Anniversary Event: Science Magic Show & Science Craft Workshop

About this event

To commemorate its 22nd anniversary, Nishihara Town Library will host the "Science Magic Show & Science Craft Workshop." With a magic show where you can experience the wonders of science and a hands-on science craft workshop, this event allows participants to learn through fun and is perfect for summer vacation independent research projects. The Science Magic Show runs from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and is free for anyone to enjoy. The following Science Craft Workshop runs from 11:10 AM to 12:00 PM for elementary school students (lower to middle grades), featuring 3 types of crafts: stick balloon rockets, crow calls / rooster calls, and rattling vibrating capsules. The participation fee is 500 yen for materials (collected in cash on the day), which covers all 3 crafts. Capacity is approximately 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, so please apply early if interested. Please bring a pair of scissors with you.
