2026 Tokashiki Festival

About this event

To promote unique village development in Tokashiki Village, this event aims to widely introduce the village's culture and performing arts, contributing to the development of tourism and industry. Designed as a participatory event where visitors can interact with villagers, it incorporates content that conveys the charm of Tokashiki Island and creates an environment enjoyable for both children and adults. Stage events are planned to feature performances by local performing arts groups and guest performers from outside the island, fireworks, and a laser show. In addition, planning and proposals for vendor stall operations are being conducted, enlivening the festival. Centered around Kerama Taiko, many performers from inside and outside the island will gather to add even more brilliance to the festival.
