The 2026 Kumejima Festival will be held on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6. Detailed program information, contents, and performers will be announced sequentially in the future. The venue is Kumejima Town Fureai Park. In the event of stormy weather, it may be postponed to Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20. Food and merchandise stalls will be set up at the event, with applications open for 14 stalls (10 food stalls and 4 other stalls). An information session for stall operators will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, starting at 14:00 in the Kumejima Chamber of Commerce and Industry conference room. For those planning to visit the island, early booking is recommended as transportation and lodging facilities are expected to be crowded.
