An event to savor aromatic new soba will be held at 'Handmade Village Koiso-go' in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture. Served under the 'san-tate' principle (freshly ground, freshly kneaded and cut, and freshly boiled), new soba possesses an exceptional deliciousness unique to this season. In the relaxing atmosphere of the thatched-roof folk house 'Koiso-tei', which serves as the event venue, visitors can savor the tastes of autumn. Furthermore, stone mill grinding experiences are available at 'Koiso-tei', allowing guests to experience the soba-making process. Around the time of the event, yellow cosmos flowers and autumn wild plants also reach their peak bloom in the park, making a stroll through the grounds highly recommended after enjoying the new soba.
