"Poison Apple Nebuta Making," held in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, is a unique craft workshop incorporating traditional Nebuta techniques. Participants paint expressive faces onto apple-shaped lanterns and layer their favorite colors to create their very own "Poison Apple." When lit up at the end, mysterious light shifting into various colors such as purple, blue, and green radiates outward, creating an enchanting ambiance distinctive to poison apples. It is a Halloween-exclusive experience where you can enjoy the artistic autumn season while experiencing Aomori's traditional culture. This experience is offered as part of the "Nebuta Halloween" event held at Hoshino Resorts Aomoriya. During the event period, visitors can also enjoy Halloween-themed Nebuta displays and photogenic spaces.
