At Saruka Park, the "Saruka Park Autumn Leaves Festival" will be held from October 24 (Sat) to November 8 (Sun), 2026. Known for spring cherry blossoms and summer lotus flowers, Saruka Park is also an attractive autumn leaves spot where the entire park turns red in autumn. The park offers many photo spots, including the dry landscape garden, foliage around the pond, and views of Mt. Iwaki and brightly dyed Enkianthus perulatus from the fountain plaza. During the period, the "Hirakawa Autumn Leaves Photo Contest 2026" will also be held, allowing visitors to capture Hirakawa City dyed in autumn colors. In addition, various concurrent events will take place, including Saruka Marche, Hirakawa Truck Market, Sarukulture Festival, and Hirakawa Gourmet Fest 2026. Inside Saruka Park, visitors can also enjoy boating, feeding carp at "Koi-Koi Shrine," and solving mystery puzzle games. Furthermore, using "Wanisapo" for Konan Railway users offers perks such as free carp food at Saruka Park and return train fare discounts. Autumn-design Goshuin (temple/shrine stamps) will also be sold at Saruka Shrine on the park grounds.
