Sky Festival 2026 in Mombetsu

"Sky Festival 2026 in Mombetsu" is an event that also serves as an exhibition of winning works from an art contest hosted by the Mombetsu Airport "Sky Day" Executive Committee. Under the theme "Okhotsk Sky," entries are accepted in photography and painting categories. Residents of the Enmon region (Mombetsu City, Engaru Town, Saroma Town, Yubetsu Town, Takinoue Town, Okoppe Town, Oumu Town, Nishiokoppe Village) of any age are eligible to apply. The application period runs from July 1 to August 20, 2026. The winning works will be exhibited at "Sky Festival 2026 in Mombetsu," held at the Hokkaido Okhotsk Drift Ice Park Aozora Koryukan on Sunday, September 13, 2026. This festival provides an opportunity to share the region's charm through artwork themed around the sky of Okhotsk.
