This special exhibition introduces the tangible and intangible cultural properties of Shibetsu through panels and actual historical artifacts. In addition to tangible cultural properties such as Tondenhei (pioneer soldier) houses, historic sites like the Kamishibetsu Ruins, the old Ohno Doken house, and items from the museum collection, folk cultural properties are also exhibited, including local drums like Tsukumo Taiko, the Asahi Mizuho Lion Dance, and Hinata Jindai Kagura. It is a valuable opportunity to experience the history and culture of the region.
