About this event
Held at Soyumura 229 Ski Land in Takko Town, Aomori Prefecture on Sunday, August 30, 2026, the "12th Takko Gourmet Marathon" is a unique event fusing food and sports. 3 km and 8 km courses are prepared, featuring walking and running divisions. Along the course, participants can enjoy fruit juice produced in Takko Town at water stations, and there is a fun project at vegetable stations where you can harvest vegetables grown in Takko Town. Luxurious participation prizes such as Takko beef and BBQ sauce are prepared for participants, and after finishing the marathon, you can also enjoy a BBQ at the venue (separate participation fee of 500 yen). It is truly a "full-stomach event" where you can fully enjoy nature and the rich food of Takko Town.
