Held at Nayoro City Cultural Center, "Lifelong Learning Festival 2026 in Nayoro" is an event packed with diverse stage performances by local clubs and individuals, art exhibits and sales, and hands-on activities that even beginners can enjoy. The venue will feature a leier (string instrument) trial workshop, a Tai Chi demonstration and trial class, and a choir performance by the senior chorus group "Wa no Kai." In addition, numerous workshops are available for casual participation, including color therapy sessions, accessory-making using marine plastic waste, ikebana (flower arranging), pre-inheritance sorting (seizen seiri) panel displays and practice workshops, Japanese tea etiquette experiences, translucent origami folding, custom incense making, and board games. Food and drink booths will sell light meals, desserts, hamburgers, seasoned rice (takikomi gohan), frankfurters, handmade bread, and more, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the food.
