19th Mt. Hashikami Crossing Walk

The 19th Mt. Hashikami Crossing Walk, held in Hashikami Town, Aomori Prefecture, is a walking event where participants can fully enjoy the rich nature of Hashikami Town. Organized by the Hashikami YY Club, participants walk across Mt. Hashikami and the Hashikami Coast while feeling the pleasant autumn breeze. Participants can choose from three courses to suit their physical stamina: the Mountain Course (24km), the Terashita Kannon Course (12km), and the Sound of the Waves Course (8km). The Mountain Course is limited to the first 100 applicants and starts at 9:30 AM. The Terashita Kannon Course starts at 8:45 AM, and the Sound of the Waves Course starts at 8:50 AM. The event will be held rain or shine, and the application deadline is Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Application methods are via postal transfer or applying directly to the secretariat. This event is a great opportunity to improve health while enjoying the local natural scenery.
