'Ishigaki MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026' is a downtown music festival held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in central Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. Running since 2007 with the goal of revitalizing central Morioka, it takes place across a total of 10 stages at 9 venues, centered around Morioka Castle Site Park (formerly Iwate Park). Morioka Castle Site Park, a paid venue, features the ISHIGAKI Stage and the AZUMAYA Stage, hosting high-energy live performances. Multiple free areas are also available, making it easy and accessible to enjoy music. The lineup brings together artists from diverse genres, including featured acts like The Cro-Magnons, THE BAWDIES, Non & the tears of knight, and SA, alongside HEY-SMITH, KUZIRA, Kyuso Nekokami, MAYSON's PARTY, Su-xing-cyu, and TETORA. Tickets are 9,800 yen for adults, 4,900 yen for junior high and high school students, and free for elementary school students and younger when accompanied by a guardian. Official second-round lottery advance sales start at 12:00 on June 26 and will be accepted until 23:59 on July 1. This festival aims to liven up the city of Morioka with music and contribute to regional revitalization.
