About this event
The 2026 Yamabiko Festa, held in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, is a festival where visitors can enjoy a local specialties fair, the 24th All-Japan Nanbu Kobikiuta Championship, and various stage events. At the venue, a fair gathering local specialties will be held, allowing guests to fully experience the area's charms. In addition, a nationwide contest for traditional Nanbu Kobikiuta songs will take place, echoing with powerful singing voices. Furthermore, diverse stage performances are planned to entertain visitors. Stalls are also being recruited, making it an event that contributes to vitalizing the local economy. The venue is the event grounds at Roadside Station Yamabikokan.
