About this event
The 'Tohoku Miyako Yose' will be held, offering a rich variety of entertainment from veterans to young performers, including rakugo, kodan storytelling, and magic (kijutsu). Please come and enjoy this occasion where the chic art of rakugo and master magic techniques gather under one roof. The performers include Katsura Kobunji, Sekisekitei Noboru, and Sanyutei Baba for rakugo; Hyuga Himawari for kodan storytelling; Shin Kitami & Stephanie for magic; and Naomi Furuta for musical accompaniment (ohayashi). Admission is unreserved seating: 2,000 yen for general admission, 1,000 yen for high school students and younger, and 3,000 yen for pair tickets. Tickets are available at Miyako Civic Cultural Hall, Miyako City Staff Co-op, Kanno Bookstore, and the Miyako Station Front General Tourist Information Center.
