The "Autumn Mikasa Railway Village Festival" will be held on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Mikasa Railway Village in Mikasa City, Hokkaido. This festival is packed with a wide variety of events enjoyable for both adults and children, including stage shows, bingo tournaments, and ride experiences on the S-304 steam locomotive. The signature game "Plarail Chicken Race" returns as a stage game, with a box of Plarail awarded as the exact-match prize. In addition, autumn seasonal flavors can be savored with sales of Katsurazawa's famous "Kinoko-jiru" (mushroom soup) and "Kinoko-gohan" (mushroom rice), made abundantly with mushrooms from Mikasa. Daily stage shows will showcase balloon art and extreme performance acts, alongside hands-on acorn craft activities, police patrol car displays, and bingo tournaments and photo sessions with the Poppo Rangers. Festival stall activities such as village stamp rallies, target shooting, Plarail fishing, and a giant fluffy gorilla inflatable can also be enjoyed. The restaurant "Kitchen Poronai" will also be open, making it an event you can fully enjoy all day long.
