About this event
A pre-event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the opening of Senmaya Station on the JR Ofunato Line, "Vehicles Gather! in Senmaya", will be held. At this event, visitors can enjoy exhibitions and hands-on experiences with various vehicles, centering on working vehicles popular with children. Municipal buses, fire vehicles, construction machinery, police vehicles, and Self-Defense Forces vehicles will gather together, allowing for close-up viewing. In addition, there are mini-train rides and Mini 4WD test run experiences, packed with activities to stimulate children's curiosity. At the venue, there will also be nostalgic photo exhibitions of Senmaya Station around the time of its opening, introductions to drivers' work, and video screenings about on-demand shared taxis. With agricultural product sales by local high school students and coffee sales, the content is enjoyable for adults as well. It is a community festival that the whole family can enjoy.
