Set-Net Fishing Boat Boarding Experience

This is a set-net fishing boat boarding experience held as part of Kamaishi City's "Meetup Kamaishi 2026" Autumn Experience Program. In this program, you can board an actual set-net fishing boat and enjoy an extraordinary hands-on experience that is not usually possible, such as helping to haul nets and sorting fish at the fish market. Eligible participants must be in the 5th grade of elementary school or older and capable of boarding and disembarking the boat independently. Elementary and junior high school students must be accompanied by a guardian. While departures may be canceled in the event of bad weather, the boat is fully equipped with a flush toilet. Please note that the schedule may change depending on fishing conditions. Take this opportunity to experience Kamaishi's fishing industry firsthand and learn about the blessings of the sea.
