Hachimantai Bandit Festival

About this event

Held at the Sakura Park Event Plaza surrounded by the grand nature of Hachimantai, the "Hachimantai Bandit Festival" (Hachimantai Sanzoku Matsuri) unfolds over three days featuring Hachimantai's pride-worthy local foods and specialty product sales from inside and outside the prefecture, along with stage events such as a National Folk Song Competition Champion Stage, folk song and kayo shows, and local performing arts (including Hachimantai Taiko drums). In addition, a work vehicle exhibition corner and a firefighting experience corner will be set up. Scheduled stage events include Matsuo Junior High School brass band performances, children's dances, Hachimantai Taiko, Nishine Junior High School brass band performances, and a folk song show by Emiko Urushihara and Naoko Odashiro. Since congestion around the venue is expected, using detour routes is recommended.
