Held in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, 'Kikuttsuka Festival: Summer All-You-Can-Drink Sake Event' is a sake festival at the Kikunotsukasa Brewery Shizukuishi Brewery to blow away the summer heat. At the venue, all-you-can-drink (ticket system) will be offered so visitors can enjoy to their heart's content various sakes carefully crafted at the Shizukuishi Brewery. In addition, a sake tasting contest to deepen knowledge of sake and an exciting lottery in which all visitors can participate are planned. On the brewery tour, visitors can enjoy a valuable experience encountering the mysteries of sake brewing. Advance tickets are 2,500 yen (with snacks) for a great value, and same-day tickets are 3,000 yen. Bringing outside food and drinks is allowed, and direct buses from Shizukuishi Station and local buses stopping throughout the town will be operating for venue access. This summer, enjoy the full charm of local sake at Kikunotsukasa Brewery and make summer memories.
