About this event
This is a tour in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, where you can ride a hybrid bicycle to enjoy a sake brewery tour and a label pasting experience. Aimed at beginners, the cycling distance is about 25 km and the required time is about 5 hours and 30 minutes. The tour visits Koiwai Farm Makiba Park and the Lone Cherry Tree of Koiwai Farm to take photos for the label. Afterwards, participants will tour the factory at Kiku-no-Tsukasa Sake Brewery and experience pasting their own original label. Lunch includes a bento box and green tea made with ingredients from Shizukuishi Town. Furthermore, you can stop by the 'Shizukuishi Industry Festival' to fully enjoy the blessings of Shizukuishi. Starting from the Shizukuishi Town Tourism and Local Products Center (Shizukuishi Station), the tour gathers at 9:00 AM and is scheduled to finish around 2:30 PM. The participation fee is 3,000 yen, which includes lunch, experience fees, insurance, guide fees, and hybrid bicycle rental. Participation conditions are being 18 years or older and able to answer a questionnaire after the monitor tour ends. Helmets are available to rent for free.
