Iwaki Farm Autumn Vegetable Harvesting Experience: Special Edition

A special harvesting experience for autumn vegetables will be held at Iwaki Farm in Yamada Town, Iwate Prefecture. While touching the soil and feeling nature's bounty firsthand, you can experience harvesting taro. The task of digging up taro with a shovel can be enjoyed by both adults and children. A direct sales corner for vegetables such as spinach, okra, and green peppers will also be set up. Furthermore, it comes with a special lunch by Takematsuya featuring seasonal saury and taro dishes. The harvested vegetables can be purchased by weight to take home. Bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty, work gloves, a hat, boots, and drinks, and enjoy the autumn flavors to the fullest.
