The "46th Shiroishi City Agricultural Festival", a festival representing autumn in Shiroishi City, will be held at White Cube on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026. Aiming to bring producers and consumers together to share the joy of harvest, the venue will feature exhibitions and direct sales of fresh agricultural produce and fruits, including newly harvested rice, persimmons, daikon radish, and Chinese cabbage. In addition, an exhibition corner displaying calligraphy and painting works by elementary school students will be set up, allowing visitors to appreciate the talents of local children. Furthermore, specialty product fairs from sister cities Noboribetsu City in Hokkaido and Ebina City in Kanagawa Prefecture will be held concurrently, with local specialties from each region displayed and sold. In addition to interactive events like new rice scooping and mochi scattering, programs characteristic of an agricultural town—such as special sales of Shiroishi-produced beef and a rice-bale sumo tournament—are planned, expected to draw crowds mainly consisting of families. On the first day, popular sale items sell out quickly in the morning, making it the best time to visit.
