At the "Hanayama Shin-Soba Festival" held at Roadside Station Rotary Hanayama (Jinenjo no Yakata) in Kurihara City, Miyagi Prefecture, you can taste sweet soba cultivated in land with large temperature differences. On the day, "san-tate" soba—freshly ground, freshly kneaded, and freshly boiled—will be served, allowing you to savor freshly made deliciousness. Because the event ends as soon as the buckwheat flour runs out, arriving early is recommended. Please fully enjoy the flavor of freshly harvested buckwheat (shin-soba) nurtured by the rich nature of Hanayama, a village of secluded hot springs.
