Osaki Tourist Guide Experience Session

About this event

Held in the Naruko area of Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, the 'Osaki Tourist Guide Experience Session' is an event for junior high and high school students to experience the appeal of being a tour guide. On Day 1, participants will tour sightseeing spots around Naruko Onsen with professional guides, and then create a script for guiding. On Day 2, based on the created script, they will actually guide members of the general public. Through the valuable experience of acting as guides and sharing local charms, participants can learn the fun and depth of tourism. The event will take place around Naruko-Onsen Station from 12:30 to 16:30 on both days. Participation is free, but advance registration is required. In the event of a large number of applications, priority will be given to those attending school or residing in Osaki City, Shikama Town, Kami Town, Wakuya Town, and Misato Town. This experience session will contribute to promoting regional tourism while also providing an opportunity for participants' personal growth.
