This is an autumn foliage event held at Mount Yakurai, a shapely 553-meter-high mountain affectionately known as 'Kami Fuji,' located in Kami Town, Kami District, Miyagi Prefecture. As an isolated peak standing on the vast Osaki Plain, the entire mountain is dyed in red and yellow during the autumn foliage season, and its magnificent scenery stands out even from a distance, captivating visitors. A variety of facilities including a ranch, swimming pool, restaurants, direct sales store, and hot springs are developed at the foot of the mountain, allowing visitors to enjoy not only autumn leaf viewing but also various activities combined with these facilities. If you climb the mountain trail, from the summit you can enjoy dynamic views of the Osaki Plain to the east and the Funagata Mountain Range adorned with autumn leaves to the west. The typical best viewing period is from mid-October to early November. Admission is free, making it an event where you can fully enjoy natural beauty and resort facilities at the same time.
