Sea, Fishing and Fashion Festival

Held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 in Onagawa Town, Miyagi Prefecture, the 'Sea, Fishing and Fashion Festival' is an experiential event co-created by Globeride, Inc. (which develops the fishing brand 'DAIWA'), MASH Group, and Onagawa Town. The inaugural event in 2025 attracted approximately 3,000 visitors and received a tremendous response. This event combines coastal nature, food, fashion, and entertainment to showcase the diverse charms of Onagawa Town. In addition to the first boat fishing class by the Daiwa Young Fishing Club (D.Y.F.C) and fishing sessions for beginners, visitors can enjoy authentic French crepes sold by gelato pique cafe and character greetings with Sesame Street characters. Furthermore, sales of special collaboration items between gelato pique / emmi and DAIWA, as well as the MASH FAMILY SALE offering discounts of up to 80%, will be held concurrently. On the stage, talk shows featuring Korokoro Chikichiki Peppers, Miho Akimaru, and Osamu Sasaki are scheduled, along with a food festival where you can savor seafood and autumn flavors.
