About this event
The 'Onagawa Autumn Harvest Festival 2026' will be held, allowing visitors to savor the autumn flavors of Onagawa Town. The highlights of the event are freshly charcoal-grilled salt-broiled Pacific saury and saury surimi soup packed with the flavors of Onagawa. In addition, silver salmon, which boasts the highest landing volume in Japan, will also make an appearance, with sampling and purchasing available. At the venue, in addition to tasting seasonal Pacific saury and silver salmon, many live stage performances and food trucks are scheduled to appear. As a special project commemorating the 100th anniversary of the town's municipal system, an attempt to challenge the Guinness World Records™ for 'Most portions of grilled fish served in 8 hours' will also be conducted.
