Akita International Festival 2026

About this event

It is a one-day event to experience the charms of the world, featuring cultural presentations of various countries by foreign residents living in Akita, activity introductions by international exchange organizations, and stage performances where you can enjoy music and dance from around the globe. With plenty of activities for both children and adults to enjoy—such as workshops for elementary school students, a quiz rally where you can receive foreign sweets (limited quantities), and kitchen cars—visitors can have an internationally rich experience.
