About this event
The "Odate Rose Festival Season 2" will be held from October 1 to 12, 2026, at Ishida Rose Garden in Odate City, Akita Prefecture. In the garden where approximately 500 varieties of colorful roses bloom in profusion, visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of autumn roses, which differs from early summer. Rather than walking around a vast site, it is developed as a "sample garden" that makes it easy to compare diverse varieties in a relatively short time, and is also equipped with Hirohide Ishida's gallery space, leisurely stone-paved stairs, and the "Ishida Rose Cafe" renovated from a former residence. Visitors can enjoy meals and rest while viewing the rose garden. Operating hours during the event period are from 10:00 to 17:00, and admission is free.
