The "Hanawa Festival Float Event (Hanawa Bayashi)," held in the Hanawa area of Kazuno City on Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20, 2026, is the largest festival in Kazuno City and is counted as one of "Japan's Three Great Bayashi (Festival Music) Festivals." Dedicated as ritual festival music for Sachi Inari Shrine, 10 gorgeous, magnificent floats parade through the town all night accompanied by passionate festival music played by local youth. It is also registered as one of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage "Yama, Hoko, Yatai float festivals." The highlight of the festival is the "Station Plaza Event," where floats from all neighborhood districts gather in front of the station for a musical contest, bringing the venue's excitement to its absolute peak.
