About this event
Commemorating the 45th anniversary of the founding of taiko performing arts group Kodo, the "Kodo One Earth Tour 2026 'Haruka -'" will be held in Furano City, Hokkaido. Directed by Yuki Hirata, this latest production expresses a hopeful and bright worldview where joy resonates and happiness spreads. Superimposing the time Kodo has traversed (past, present, and future) with the resounding beats of taiko drums, it delivers a celebratory moment enveloped in blessings. The performance time is planned to be approximately 90 minutes (including an intermission). Starting from Asakusa, this tour travels nationwide from summer to autumn. Along with the message that the reverberation of taiko has always connected people across all eras, it plays sounds of excitement, joy, and hope looking toward the future.
