The 20th Daisen City Autumn Harvest Fair

The '20th Daisen City Autumn Harvest Fair' will be held, offering opportunities to experience and enjoy the industry and culture of Daisen City. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary this year, a live broadcast of Akita Asahi Broadcasting's 'Satanabi!' and a talk event by celebrity Manami Honjo have been planned. At the venue, the Hikario MIRAI Stage will be set up at the Omagari Hikario Event Plaza, featuring local traditional performing arts, dance performances, DJ sets, and more. In addition, corners for 'Food' and 'Bargain Market', women's groups, NPOs, local specialties, roadside stations (michi-no-eki), and welfare services will have booths. At the Daisen City Health and Welfare Center, there will be panel exhibitions introducing outstanding construction work awards and skilled master craftspersons, a DX introduction booth, health promotion corner, dietary education corner, and more. At the Omagari Station exhibition area, an arrangement display of 'Omagari no Hanabi Dahlia' will be presented. Along Hanabi-dori Shopping Street, the 'Daisen Kei-Truck Market' gathering agricultural and processed goods from across the city, as well as cooperative sales at shopping street shops, will take place. Furthermore, at Nobinobi Land, there will be a tasting booth for local specialty vegetables by vegetable sommeliers, smart agriculture introductions, a training facility booth for new farmers, introductions of activities related to multifunctional payment grants, a direct sales event of agricultural products by Senboku Wakaje Farmers (October 18 only), an introduction to the life cycle of salmon (natal homing), an Agricultural Vitality Award booth, and a school lunch exhibition corner. For those who purchase 1,000 yen or more at the Kei-Truck Market or Hanabi-dori Shopping Street, a grand lottery offering prizes such as pair accommodation vouchers for public hot spring facilities in the city and local specialties will also be held.
