Held in Semboku City, Akita Prefecture, the "39th Lake Tazawa Marathon" is an exhilarating marathon race where runners sprint along the shores of Lake Tazawa, considered the most beautiful lake in Japan. Four categories are offered: Full Marathon, 20 km, 10 km, and 3 km Pair, allowing a wide range of runners from beginners to advanced participants to take part. On race day, all participants will receive an original event T-shirt, and runners who finish within the time limit will be awarded a finisher certificate and an original towel. Water stations will provide drinks and fruits, and luggage storage service is also available. It is an attractive event where runners can challenge their limits while fully enjoying the beautiful nature of Lake Tazawa.
