Moritake Onsen Summer Festival 2026

The "Moritake Onsen Summer Festival 2026," held in Mitane Town, Akita Prefecture, will take place at Sozaburonuma Park on Sunday, August 23, 2026. The event begins at 11:00 AM, featuring stage performances such as the Junsai Dance, Noshiro WIND Jr., Yosakoi Ladies, the Mitane Junior High School Brass Band, and Studio JAM. From the evening, Nishimonai Bon Odori, a singing impression live performance by Kodai Matsuura, and the Moritake Onsen Fireworks Festival marking the grand finale are scheduled. The venue offers plenty of attractions for adults and children, including a free portrait booth by Toramaru, flowing junsai (water shield), and a food stall village. Around 15 stalls are planned for the food stall village, allowing visitors to savor local specialties. Fireworks sponsorship donations are also being accepted, offering sponsors benefits such as venue announcements, banner displays, and meal vouchers usable in the food stall village. Sponsors contributing 100,000 yen or more can also have a 70th-anniversary commemorative message firework launched.
