The Mitane Town Citizens Festival & 7th Tane no Ichi: Autumn Chapter will be held on October 17, 2026, at the Kotooka Sports Gymnasium Lawn Plaza in Mitane Town, Akita Prefecture. This is a local festival combining the Citizens Festival and Tane no Ichi: Autumn Chapter. Tane no Ichi brings together diverse vendors featuring agricultural produce, plants, antique tools, baked goods, breads and other foods, handicrafts, and workshops. Kitchen cars (food trucks) will also be present to enliven the venue. In case of rain or if the outdoor venue cannot be used due to bear sightings, the event is scheduled to be held inside Kotooka Sports Gymnasium. If held indoors, booths may be smaller than outdoor stalls. This event offers an opportunity for local residents and visitors to interact and enjoy autumn in Mitane Town.
