"YONEZAWA ROCK FES 2026" is a music festival held on a special stage in Saijo Tenman Park, Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. Under the theme "Castle Town Music Festival of Encounters and Bustle," it provides an exchange space where everyone—from the younger generation to parenting generations and beyond—can have fun together. Through music, it aims to showcase new charms of Yonezawa, contribute to the community, and revitalize local energy. It will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, with doors opening at 9:30, performances starting at 10:30, and an expected finish at 19:00. The event will proceed rain or shine. Tickets are 6,900 yen for adults, and admission is free for high school students and younger. Junior high school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian, and junior high and high school students must show a student ID or identification upon entry. FamilyMart advance ticket sales began at 10:00 on June 16. Performing artists announced in the first wave include Dizzy Sunfist, HAWAIIAN6, PROMPTS, MAYSON's PARTY, YAMAARASHI, and locofrank, with dustbox and Backdrop Cinderella announced in the second (final) wave.
