Held in Zao Pension Village, the "Zao Pension Village Open Garden 2026 (Mountain Autumn Garden)" takes place during the most beautiful season when the autumn foliage of the mixed woodlands harmonizes with the gardens. Visitors can spend a relaxing time in a mystical landscape where the afternoon sun filters through the trees, illuminating Japanese anemones and pampas grass. During the event period, in addition to opening the gardens to the public, selected pensions will operate cafes/lunches and sell flower seedlings and miscellaneous goods. This event allows you to fully enjoy the beauty of gardens tinted with autumn colors while feeling the refreshing highland air. Admission is free, and open hours are from 10:00 to 15:00. Because cafe and lunch operations as well as flower seedling sales have irregular holidays depending on each pension's situation, checking in advance or making a reservation is recommended.
