Kaneyama Town Industry Festival

This is a major autumn event held in Kaneyama Town, Yamagata Prefecture, bringing together the town's proud flavors and traditional performing arts in one place. At the yakiniku (grilled meat) corner featuring Kaneyama beef and "Musumebuta" pork fed on Kaneyama-grown rice, limited-edition yakiniku sets are sold. Visitors can enjoy exhibition and sales corners for agricultural, forestry, and marine products as well as corporate goods, an environmental corner, and stage attractions such as Dontsuki songs, performances by the Kaneyama Town Arts and Culture Association, and Bangaku. In addition, there are booths featuring Kaneyama craftsmen, hands-on experience corners, a working vehicles display, and an area to interact with horses. Special package plans that bundle accommodation with yakiniku tickets are also available, offering tours to fully enjoy both town sightseeing in Kaneyama and the industry festival.
