Cherished as a celebration of song, dance, and light that colors autumn in Mogami, the 'Mogami Festival' is the annual ritual of Atago Shrine and Kumano Taisha Shrine. The highlight of the festival is the spirited parade of portable shrines (mikoshi) carried through the town. On the 'Mogami Genki Stage', various stage shows will be performed to enliven the venue. Furthermore, at the Grand Fireworks Display that colors the festival night, multicolored fireworks brilliantly decorate the night sky over Mogami Town. This festival is beloved by local residents and serves as an autumn tradition.
